The Permanent Secretariat of the Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity
Organization-AAPSO- has learnt with deep sorrow the passing away of its Vice-President Alfred Nzo, in Johannesburg.
Alfred Nzo had played a determinant role within the rank of ANC during the dark period of apartheid in South Africa. He led his restless struggle for freedom, peace and justice not only inside the country, but also outside, allowing him to gain the overwhelming sympathy and confidence on the national as well as international level.
