The Visit of Japan Delegation to AAPSO

A delegation of Japan Africa and Latin America solidarity Committee visited the Afro Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization Head Quarters in Egypt on 9/7/2009. The visit comes on the occasion of the 15th NAM Summit which will take place on 11-16 July 2009.

AAPSO will participate with a big delegation composed of members of the Secretariat and members of its Committees among them Japan AALA headed by Mr. Toshio Akinwa.

15th Summit of Non-Aligned Movement

The summit was held in Sharm El-Sheik, a holiday and tourist resort town of Egypt at the Southern tip of Sinai Peninsula from 11-16 July 2009.

Communiqué On the Arab Summit of March 2010

The Arab Summit, scheduled on the 27th and the 28th of March 2010 in Sirte, Libya, comes amidst a number of events and changes that are troubling the Arab arena.

The Afro-Asian Peoples’ Solidarity Organization (AAPSO) appeals to the Arab leaders to adopt an Arab unified stance towards facing the Israeli practices and the reoccurring attacks on the Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem and insisting on threatening them and not merely issuing statements of condemnation and denunciation.

The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development will take place in Brazil on 20-22 June 2012 to mark the 20th anniversary of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development, in Rio de Janeiro, and the 10th anniversary of the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in Johannesburg.
