First: Activities

Seminar on "What’s occurring in Darfour Now?”
5/10/2001 at the
headquarters of AAPSO.
2.
Meetings of the Preparatory Committee of the Arab Social Forum at the
headquarters of AAPSO.

new American Veto in the Security Council encourages bloodshed, on
7/10/2004.
Second: Activities in
which the Permanent Secretariat of AAPSO participated in Egypt:-

The 10th General Conference of the Federation of Arab
Journalists.
2-5 /10/2004 at Grand
Hayatt Hotel.
It was convened on the
occasion of 40th Anniversary of the establishment of the
Federation of Arab Journalists. It discussed the conditions of Press and
the difficulties towards Democratic developments in the Arab World.

seminar on “Prisoners for all Ages”.

Association for Enlightenment.

workshop on “ Issues and Problems of Financing the Non-government
Organizations.
11/10/2004 at Flamenco
Hotel
Organized by: the Arab
Program for Human Rights Activists and the Research center of
alternatives development programs.
The workshop discussed
many issues as evaluating the experiment of foreign financing, the
problems of foreign financing and the impacts of international and
regional crises on providing-finance.

A
seminar on “Language, Identity and Dialogue of Civilizations”.
12-13/10/2004 at the
Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences.
Organized by: The Program
of Dialogue of Civilizations.
It discussed the Power of
Language and its used in communication.
