Report on the Activities of AAPSO's
Permanent Secretariat

AAPSO’s Permanent Secretariat has organized and
participated in some activities during February inside and outside A.R.E. These
activities are as follows:
Activities which AAPSO’s Permanent Secretariat
has organized :
1- A meeting of the Arab Social Forum Secretariat (Cairo Sector) on
11/2/2007 at the headquarters of AAPSO’s Permanent Secretariat.
2- A meeting of Dr. Mourad Ghaleb and Mr. Nouri Abdul Razzak with Mr.
Nils Gillman and Mr. Aron Harms representatives of the Global Business
Network that conducts studies, researches and analysis. It is a
monitoring company headed in San Francisco, USA.
The meeting discussed various global issues with a specific reference to
terrorism and the means of combating it.
Dr. Mohammad Elsayed Saeed, Dr. Mohammad Hossam, Dr. Mohammad Raouf
Hamed, Dr. Mostafa El Labbad, Mr. Baheg Nassar, Mr. Shawky Galal, Ms.
Hamsa Abd El- Hamid , Mr. Jullian Randeryamaseveleo , Dr. Fakhry Labib,
, and Ms. Hager Shokr participated in the meeting.
The meeting was held on 14/2/2007 at the headquarters of AAPSO’s
Permanent Secretariat .

12/2/2007.

Activities in which AAPSO’s Permanent
Secretariat has participated inside A.R.E.
1- A seminar on the “ Arab Strategic Report 2006”
The different sessions of the seminar tackled the Israeli aggression
against Lebanon, the crises of the Iranian Nuclear Programme, the
Palestinian issue and the situation in Iraq between aggravation of
violence and the political process, the global economic performance, the
Arab regimes and the regression of reform issues.
The seminar was held on 4/2/2007 at the Center for Political and
Strategic studies
Ms. Maha Sallam participated in the seminar representing AAPSO.
2- A meeting in the framework of the Afro- Asian Business Summit – Egypt
2007- economic committee’s follow up for different procedures of
preparation, marketing and promotion of the summit.
The meeting was held on 25/2/2007 at the headquarters of the Federation
of the Egyptian
Chambers of Commerce.
Ms. Hamsa Abd El- Hamid participated in the meeting representing AAPSO.
Activities in which AAPSO’s Permanent
Secretariat has participated outside A.R.E.
1- The Sixth World Symposium on the Ideology of Moammar Kadhafi
“Democracy in the 21st Century: 30 years over the declaration of the
peoples’ rule ” and the great celebration on the occasion of the 30th
anniversary of the declaration of the peoples’ rule in the Great
Jamahiriya.
The Green Book Studies and Research Center organized the symposium on
27-28/2/2007 , Tripoli, Libya
Dr. Fakhry Labib participated in the symposium representing AAPSO. |
